A lot of people find us the same way, usually while they’re standing on a sidewalk somewhere, a line of supercars rolls past, and somebody pulls out a phone to look us up. Then comes the question we hear most: how do I get in?

It’s a fair question. Crown Rally is invite-only, so car rally registration with us works a bit differently from signing up for a race or a car show. Here’s how it goes, start to finish.

ToggleKey Takeaways
- It all starts with the Request an Invite form, and the car you list matters.
- If it’s a fit, we send an invite code that opens registration.
- Tell us early if your car, passenger or plans change.
- Bring your license, registration and proof of insurance to the start.
Why We Keep It Invite-Only
Honestly, it’s about the group, because a multi-day rally works best when every driver wants the same things. Great roads, good company, safe driving and a cause worth backing.
The invite step lets us get to know you before you join. It also keeps each event at a manageable size, where hotels, routes and stops run smoothly. Nobody likes waiting forty minutes for a parking spot at dinner after a long day of driving.
Invite-only doesn’t mean closed, though. First-timers ask all the time, and we’re glad they do, since there’s simply a short review before you’re on the list.
Step One: Request an Invite
It all starts on our Request an Invite page.
The form asks for your name, phone number and email. It asks about the car or cars you’d like to bring, how you heard about us, and which rally caught your eye. Then there’s a notes field, and we’d really like you to use it. Tell us if this is your first rally, whether a co-driver is coming, and anything else that seems useful.
You don’t have to own a supercar to ask, but the car you list matters, so be accurate. Between cars, or waiting on a delivery? Say so in the notes. We’ve seen it all.

Step Two: Get Your Invite Code
We read every request carefully, and if it’s a fit, we’ll reach out with an invite code, and that code is your key to car rally registration on our site.
How long that takes varies from rally to rally. Spots on each rally are limited, so the earlier you ask, the better your odds of getting the dates you want.
Step Three: Create Your Account and Register
With your invite code in hand, you’ll log in, create your account and register for the rally you picked. This is where you confirm your driver details, your car and any passengers.
Read the event page closely while you complete registration, because the details differ. Our lineup right now includes Crown Rally South, Crown Rally West, Crown Rally East and Crown Rally North. Each one has its own route, dates and details. Crown East 2027, for example, runs from Boston to Farmington from July 17 to 21. Some details go up early. Others come closer to the event.
What Shapes Your Entry Cost
We don’t put fees in this post, because they change from one event to the next.
What drives the cost is the rally itself. That includes the number of days, the route and the hotels involved, and whether you bring a co-driver or a passenger. Some events come with special extras, too. Crown South 2026, for instance, includes F1 tickets for Saturday and Sunday. Your registration screen shows what applies to your event, so you won’t be guessing.
Mistakes We See Over and Over
Small stuff, mostly, but it adds up.
Someone lists one car in their request and shows up with another without telling us. Someone forgets to add a passenger. Someone waits until the last week and finds the event is full. And plenty of people mistype an email address, which hurts, because your invite code and all event updates arrive by email.
If something changes after you register, like your car, your passenger or your travel plans, reach out through our contact page as soon as you can. Early notice makes it much easier for us to help. Late notice? We’ll still try our best.

Step Four: Get the Car Ready
Now the fun preparation starts.
Book a service visit a few weeks before the start. Have a technician look at brakes, tires and fluids, plus that one thing that’s been bugging you for months. Long days on unfamiliar roads are rough on a car that’s already due for work.
Pack light, since most exotic cars have tiny trunks, and you will regret the third pair of shoes. Our guide on preparing for an exotic car rally goes deeper. Still picking what to drive? Read our piece on the right vehicle for an exotic car rally.
Step Five: Sort Out the Paperwork
Bring a valid driver’s license, current registration and proof of insurance for your car.
We’d also call your insurance company before the event. Ask whether your policy covers long trips across several states, and whether there are limits you should know about. If you’re crossing state lines, check the rules in each state on the route. The Insurance Information Institute has a good overview of insuring a classic or exotic car if you want a refresher before you call your agent.
Step Six: Show Up at the Start Line
This is the best part of the whole process, if you ask us.
Plan to check in, meet the team and the other drivers, and listen closely at the briefing for the days ahead. That’s where you’ll hear the plan for the group and the rules of the road.
If it’s your first time, relax. Our post on your first exotic car rally covers what to expect, and our notes on rally etiquette are worth a quick read before you go.
Driving for a Cause
Every Crown event supports charity through #rally4acause. It’s been part of who we are since the first Central Crown in 2014. When you register, you join a group that has helped partners like the Epilepsy Foundation and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
That part tends to stick with people longer than the roads do.
Ready When You Are
Car rally registration with Crown starts with one form. Request an invite, tell us about you and your car, and we’ll take it from there.
